INDIA MISSION
In November 2003, Pastor Bayo Adeyokunnu went on a missionary trip to India. This missionary trip was not an ordinary one because it paved the way for the birth of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in the Nation of India. As a result of the missionary trip, 34 churches were planted in the southern part of India today.
Out of those 34 churches, we have erected two churches buildings and we also have one mega church in the heart of city called Visakhapatnam.
When he planted the first church there were about 16 members. However, God added to His Church and the members have increased to about 1400 in three districts. Pastors Bayo and Margaret Adeyokunnu, through their ministry, conducted huge crusades in India and thousands of people were blessed by their powerful ministrations and many miracles and healings took place during these crusades and thousands of people gave their lives to JESUS CHRIST.
The Redeemed Christian Bible College in India was started in 2007 and has since then trained 48 students and most of them are now in the ministry, some pasturing churches.
Pastor Bayo Adeyokunnu is not just a Missionary or a Religious Leader to the Indian Mission but a Philanthropist. Through this ministry, 23 borehole wells were drilled to provide fresh drinking water to the remote and slum areas of India. Also, many Sewing Machines were given to poor widows to set up their own businesses. He is never tired of preaching the word of God and to reach the poor. Mummy Pastor (Pastor Margaret Adeyokunnu) has also adopted children in India to help with their education.
