Acts 27:1& 3- And when it was DETERMINED that we should sail into Italy, THEY DELIVERED PAUL AND CERTAIN OTHER PRISONERS UNTO ONE NAMED JULIUS, a centurion of Augustus’ band. And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

There is the determined counsel of God. There is also the determined counsel of the devil. In life we are delivered from the hands of our parents then our teachers. May God deliver our children from the hands of evil teachers. Sometimes we are in the hands of a spouse we knew nothing about before we married them. At times we find ourselves under the leadership of an impossible boss. How did you launch into the situation you currently find yourself? May God give us kind bosses.

As we go through the journey of life may God give us good friends. Good friends should be kept and added to our circle of good friends. Who has God placed in our lives to refresh us? May God place us into the hands of people who would do us good. May God give us worthy friends and make us worthy friends to others.

The human nature is blind. It is only God that knows where a person ought to be. He knows the end from the beginning. Ask God what city you should reside in. A person can remain in one spot for years unless God intervenes. Without God in a person’s life, the devil can keep that person in bondage for the rest of his life! Friends, if you don’t have God, you have no future. May God order our lives and deliver us from the hands of WHOSOEVER it is that may be holding us back in any way. If God be for us, who can be against us? A boss who does not like you may post you to another department that other do not want to go but God can turn the wilderness into the garden of the Lord! God can turn it around for your good!

Examples of the evil testament of life are: Five years passing us by with no major growth in finances, 20 years in debt, 10 years in marriage that keeps going from bad to worse, or even being sentenced to 30 years mortgage when the banks know a person could lose his/her job at any time! God sent destiny helpers to David “EVERYDAY”. May God send you destiny helpers daily! The bible reference in Acts 27 is about Paul’s ordeal on a ship. This encounter can be compared to the impossible situations that is the characteristics of many lives. Let’s take a look at the following verses from Acts 27 taking note of the capitalized words:

Acts 27:7-9 And when we had sailed SLOWLY many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone; And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea. Now when MUCH TIME WAS SPENT, and when SAILING WAS NOW DANGEROUS, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them.

Paul was an “Apostle” yet suffered many things. The challenges of life does not exclude anybody. God will change your story for good in Jesus’ name! In the day of trouble, may God send counselors your way! Let’s look at verses 10 and 11 of Acts 27:

Acts 27:10-11 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

The centurion did not hearken to the prophet’s voice. The bible tells us in the book of Proverbs to obey the instructions of our father. Singles, it is not wise to decide who you will marry on your own. You just do not have all the insights necessary for the decision. There are people around you who are not right for you. Allow God to guide you. Check out verse 13 of Acts 27:

Acts 27:13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete. BUT NOT LONG AFTER THERE AROSE AGAINST IT A TEMPESTUOUS WIND, called Euroclydon.

Many times in the journey of life, just when you think things have started to go well, something else happens! There are troubles in life that you can’t handle. Check out verse 15 of the same scripture:

Acts 27:15 And when the ship was CAUGHT, and COULD NOT BEAR up into the wind, we let her drive.

There are impossible battles in life. In verses 17 -19 below the bible tells us Paul and the others feared that their ship would fall into quick sand! The storm was so bad that at one point they started throwing their belongings into the sea!

Acts 27:17-19 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the QUICKSANDS, strake sail, and so were driven. And we being exceedingly TOSSED WITH A TEMPEST, the next day THE LIGHTENED THE SHIP; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.

Friends, there storms in life so severe that a man feels he has to sell all his belongings just to keep his head above water! As you read Acts 27, you will see that almost EVERY verse was about an impossible situation that it took only God to intervene! Their boat was shattered but God had already told them that there would be not casualty. Let us pray…

PRAYER

Father God, no matter what the enemy can assault me with, always arise for my immediate deliverance! Lord, arise for my defense! Anyway the enemy rises against me, always fight for me! Lord, don’t leave me to the storms of life! Don’t leave me to men!

Father, all the years the enemy have wasted, tonight restore them to me!

Father, you are the breath of my life. What is impossible for men to do in ten years, do it in my life in one year! Do the impossible in my life! Change my story to glory!

The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11).

Genesis 27:40 And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

The above bible-reference was Isaac speaking to Esau from his death bed. Friends, what a man says from his death bed has a great impact on the recipient. Isaac told Esau in other words that he should break free when he couldn’t take it any more. It is what you permit in your life that will persist. It is what you allow that will align.

PRAYER: You spirit of servitude, sickness, stagnancy, failure, poverty, I BREAK LOOSE FROM YOU IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!

Isaiah 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

There is a yoke-breaking anointing. God tells us in the bible that “I will make a way where there is no way”. There is a facility of escape. Man’s word is not final because man is mortal.

WHAT IS A YOKE?

1. A Satanic instrument of oppression used to limit a person’s growth, promotion, fulfillment. Breakthrough, etc. It is a hindering barrier.

2. A Satanic device that sponsors affliction in the lives of people. 1st Kings 12:11 And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. Friends, you cannot negotiate with Satan. The dark places of this earth are full of the habitation of cruelty. EVERY power assigned to prolong your problems, may the ground open up and swallow them in the MIGHTY name of Jesus!

3. A yoke is something that places the destiny of a man in the hands of the enemy. A prisoner cannot eat what he pleases or go anywhere he wants to. In Acts 12:6 we are told that Peter was in prison between two soldiers bound with TWO chains and there were keepers who kept the prison door!!! The only thing that could free the destiny of Peter was a divine intervention. You will be released TONIGHT!!!

Deuteronomy 15:1 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.

The bible tells us in Deuteronomy 15:1 that at the end of every seven years thou shall make a release. Today is the seventh day of Power Explosion program and the seventh month!!! TODAY, YOU WILL BE RELEASED IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!

PRAYER: Holy Ghost, command my release from failure, poverty, stagnancy, profitless hard labor, etc by fire!!!

Isaiah 9:4-5 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

In Isaiah 9:4-5 above, God said this battle shall be with burning and fuel of fire. Let God arise on your behalf and let the enemies be scattered! You will overtake your overtakers in the MIGHTY name of Jesus!

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF YOKE DESTINIES?

1. When you are enduring life instead of enjoying it. This is a gradual resignation to fate. This is not the will of God.

2. When you are marking time instead of making

3. When instead of being an asset, you are a liability

4. When you are carrying a load. Joseph’s brothers carried a load on their heads plus an extra load they knew nothing about and they walked a great distance only to be told to turn back because of the extra load that was put in their luggage they knew nothing about! TODAY, you will offload EVERY evil load in the MIGHTY name of Jesus! Everywhere you may have been rejected, YOU WILL BE ELECTED!!!

5. When your resting time is a wrestling time.

6. When you can’t see the next 10 – 20 years (visions, dreams) that it will be well.

7. When the journey of 38 days is taking 38 years.

8. When a person’s wellbeing is under ceaseless attack. The good news is that YOU WILL BE FREE!!! If the

   son therefore shall set you free, YOU ARE FREE INDEED!!!

WHY IS JESUS A YOKE BREAKER?

1. He broke the yoke of profitless hard labor and near-success syndrome in the life of the man at the pool called Bethesda (John 5:8). This man had diverse, multi-dimensional yokes but one glorious day Jesus said to him “rise, take up thy bed, and walk!” The problem of 38 years got solved in 38 seconds! Jesus, the yoke breaker will visit you today!

         He broke the yoke of premature death in the life of Lazarus (John 11:34)

PRAYER:

Every power assigned against my blood, you are a liar! Die by fire in the mighty name of Jesus!!!

 Eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood, begin to eat your own flesh and drink your own blood in the mighty name of Jesus!!!

 My blood, become acid in the hands of the enemy! The acidic power in the blood of Jesus, arise for me in the mighty name of Jesus!

 Every evil arrow fired at me or my family members, BACKFIRE AND DESTRY YOUR SENDERS IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!

BELIEVERS’ WEAPON FOR DESTROYING YOKES

      1.Name of Jesus. The bible tells us that those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

2. The word of God (Hebrews 4:12).

3. The Blood of Jesus (Rev. 12:11)

4. Fasting with prayer (Isaiah 58:6)

5. Praise and worship

6. Sacrificial giving. Saul was the yoke on David’s neck but in 1st Samuel 26:18-19 David confronted Saul with a peace offering saying Wherefore doth my lord thus

   pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand?
   Now

   therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they

   be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods. Every power asking you where is your God? I prophesy to you that God will arise for you!!!

7. The Holy Spirit which is The Anointing.
