Luke 7:11-16 The story of the widow of Nain

God will wipe away all your tears! Your story shall turn to glory! The bible referenced above is about a widow who was in complex sorrow. Her husband had already died and then her only son died! Friends, even the people sympathizing with this widow may have been talking amongst themselves behind her back saying that she may be a witch who killed her husband and now her son! I prophesy to you that any name people are calling you that is not yours, God will change it TODAY!!!

Romans 9:15-16 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

TODAY, my God will single you out for mercy! Ruth was singled out because of mercy. Rahab was a celebrated harlot but God singled her out.  The woman caught in adultery in John 8 enjoyed the mercy of God. Solomon came from an adulterous relationship with Bathsheba but the mercy of God prevailed in his life. I prophesy to you that the mercy of god will single you out!

God can reverse the irreversible. The son of the widow of Nain was dead. I prophesy to you that EVERYTHING dead in your life will come alive TODAY! The Master touched the casket with a touch of healing, a touch of miracle, a touch of deliverance. I prophesy to you that the Master will touch you with a touch of deliverance, a touch of restoration. Let us pray….

Song: He touched me, oh he touched me! And oh what joy that filled my soul! Something happened and now I know, he touched me and made me whole!

HOW DO I GENERATE THE POWER TO PRODUCE?

There’s no title that makes a man but ”impact”. People with no impact run after titles. People who impact are not looking for titles. Christianity without power will be a frustrated religion. Paul said “that I may know him and the power of his resurrection”. If you don’t know what you carry, you tend to miscarry. When you have a revelation you cause a revolution! What makes Christianity beautiful is power. Holy Spirit is that power. It is not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord. Jesus Christ is the power and wisdom of God. As a Christian, Power is in you.

Acts 27:1& 3- And when it was DETERMINED that we should sail into Italy, THEY DELIVERED PAUL AND CERTAIN OTHER PRISONERS UNTO ONE NAMED JULIUS, a centurion of Augustus’ band. And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

There is the determined counsel of God. There is also the determined counsel of the devil. In life we are delivered from the hands of our parents then our teachers. May God deliver our children from the hands of evil teachers. Sometimes we are in the hands of a spouse we knew nothing about before we married them. At times we find ourselves under the leadership of an impossible boss. How did you launch into the situation you currently find yourself? May God give us kind bosses.

As we go through the journey of life may God give us good friends. Good friends should be kept and added to our circle of good friends. Who has God placed in our lives to refresh us? May God place us into the hands of people who would do us good. May God give us worthy friends and make us worthy friends to others.

The human nature is blind. It is only God that knows where a person ought to be. He knows the end from the beginning. Ask God what city you should reside in. A person can remain in one spot for years unless God intervenes. Without God in a person’s life, the devil can keep that person in bondage for the rest of his life! Friends, if you don’t have God, you have no future. May God order our lives and deliver us from the hands of WHOSOEVER it is that may be holding us back in any way. If God be for us, who can be against us? A boss who does not like you may post you to another department that other do not want to go but God can turn the wilderness into the garden of the Lord! God can turn it around for your good!

Examples of the evil testament of life are: Five years passing us by with no major growth in finances, 20 years in debt, 10 years in marriage that keeps going from bad to worse, or even being sentenced to 30 years mortgage when the banks know a person could lose his/her job at any time! God sent destiny helpers to David “EVERYDAY”. May God send you destiny helpers daily! The bible reference in Acts 27 is about Paul’s ordeal on a ship. This encounter can be compared to the impossible situations that is the characteristics of many lives. Let’s take a look at the following verses from Acts 27 taking note of the capitalized words:

Acts 27:7-9 And when we had sailed SLOWLY many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone; And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea. Now when MUCH TIME WAS SPENT, and when SAILING WAS NOW DANGEROUS, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them.

Paul was an “Apostle” yet suffered many things. The challenges of life does not exclude anybody. God will change your story for good in Jesus’ name! In the day of trouble, may God send counselors your way! Let’s look at verses 10 and 11 of Acts 27:

Acts 27:10-11 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

The centurion did not hearken to the prophet’s voice. The bible tells us in the book of Proverbs to obey the instructions of our father. Singles, it is not wise to decide who you will marry on your own. You just do not have all the insights necessary for the decision. There are people around you who are not right for you. Allow God to guide you. Check out verse 13 of Acts 27:

Acts 27:13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete. BUT NOT LONG AFTER THERE AROSE AGAINST IT A TEMPESTUOUS WIND, called Euroclydon.

Many times in the journey of life, just when you think things have started to go well, something else happens! There are troubles in life that you can’t handle. Check out verse 15 of the same scripture:

Acts 27:15 And when the ship was CAUGHT, and COULD NOT BEAR up into the wind, we let her drive.

There are impossible battles in life. In verses 17 -19 below the bible tells us Paul and the others feared that their ship would fall into quick sand! The storm was so bad that at one point they started throwing their belongings into the sea!

Acts 27:17-19 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the QUICKSANDS, strake sail, and so were driven. And we being exceedingly TOSSED WITH A TEMPEST, the next day THE LIGHTENED THE SHIP; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.

Friends, there storms in life so severe that a man feels he has to sell all his belongings just to keep his head above water! As you read Acts 27, you will see that almost EVERY verse was about an impossible situation that it took only God to intervene! Their boat was shattered but God had already told them that there would be not casualty. Let us pray…

PRAYER

Father God, no matter what the enemy can assault me with, always arise for my immediate deliverance! Lord, arise for my defense! Anyway the enemy rises against me, always fight for me! Lord, don’t leave me to the storms of life! Don’t leave me to men!

Father, all the years the enemy have wasted, tonight restore them to me!

Father, you are the breath of my life. What is impossible for men to do in ten years, do it in my life in one year! Do the impossible in my life! Change my story to glory!

The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11).

Ecclesiastes 4:1 So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

The ministry of power is to terminate the tears of life. God shall wipe away your tears. The destiny of men on the face of the earth is at the mercy of power.

WHY DO YOU NEED POWER?

You need power because life is a battle. The battle of life is the generator of the tears of life. We “WRESTLE” not against flesh tells us there is a “wrestling” going on in the spiritual. “FIGHT” the good fight of faith tells us there is a “fight”. We do not “WAR” after the flesh tells us there is a “war”!!! Friends, whether you want to be involved or not is irrelevant, the war is on.

If a newborn baby doesn’t cry at birth, it’s not normal. Why is crying the sign of life? The crying of a newborn is the child’s way of announcing to the world that “I have joined the tears of life”. Women go through terrible agony during labor but after she delivers she is filled with joy. The tears of life should stop at birth which is the morning of life. It is not meant to continue to the afternoon and evening of life. The ministry of the battle of life is to ensure that the tears of life continue till the evening of life (to elongate it). There is some type of power on the side of the oppressor. I prophesy to you that EVERY tear that has continued into the afternoon of your life WILL BE DRIED UP TONIGHT!!!

WHAT ARE THE SITUATIONS THAT PROVOKE TEARS?

There are certain experiences in life that necessitate tears; The kind of experiences that carry with it bitterness and sorrow. Examples are the following:

Locked destinies: There is a padlock on these destinies. How do you know destinies are locked? When Elisha got to Jericho, the bible tells us that the situation of this land is pleasant but the land is barren! A destiny that is locked has all it takes to succeed but is a failure. It has all it takes to be a star but can’t shine! Everything that is naturally easy for others become hard for this destiny. This destiny may be very beautiful and very elegant but the accomplishments of life has been made a taboo. Life is not easy for a man whose destiny is locked because every accomplishment is with super struggling! But TONIGHT, as we cry to the God of Israel, I prophesy to you that EVERY padlock on any destiny SHALL BE DESTROYED IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!! Every locked destiny will be opened! Whatever has been resisting you making your life unbearable, miserable, and bitter SHALL BE BROKEN!!!

Stopped destinies: These destinies often face situations of hopelessness and helplessness. God brought Ezekiel to the valley of dry bones and asked him if the bones would live again. This was a very difficult question because the bones must’ve been VERY DRY. So to be on the safe side Ezekiel answered God by saying “O Lord, thou knowest”. This was a diplomatic answer because if he had said “No, Lord, I don’t think there is hope for these bones”, it would’ve appeared as if he lacked faith in God. So “O Lord, thou knowest” was the perfect answer! Friends, the destiny of a man on the face of the earth is a book with chapters. Some written by God and some by the devil but God’s chapter is always the final. No matter how hopeless and helpless the situation is, THEY WILL SURRENDER!!! I prophesy to you that new doors will open for you tonight!

Static destinies: The man at the pool of Bethesda was in that situation for thirty eight years (John 5:5-7)! The ministry of the battle of life is to hold a person perpetually in a spot. If people who are young enough to be your children or people who were born when you graduated from college are now your boss because you are not progressing, there will be tears. But tonight, EVERY tear will be wiped away in the mighty name of Jesus!

Robbed destinies: These destinies are robbed of their rightful inheritance in life. The people that have yoke/chains in their lives making the mandate of life a taboo for them. Fishes don’t need to struggle before they can swim. Rivers don’t struggle to flow. Vegetables are tender but the ground breaks open for them to sprout! Certain things in life are creative mandate. But some forces are preventing creative mandate from being fulfilled in many lives! THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE TONIGHT IN TH MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!

Wounded destinies: People with these destinies have no soundness in the physiology of their bodies. The woman with the issue of blood carried a terminal incurable disease that refused to respond to medication (Mk. 5:25-34). Derobed destinies: To “derobe” means to render a person naked. People with these destinies are low-rangers in the journey of life even if they are related to the president! The man at the pool of Bethesda said to Jesus “I have no man”. These people have “naked” destinies. There is no self-made man.  When help is not available to you, you remain where you are. Even Jesus Christ needed John the Baptist to announce him.  A person with no one to help is naked, destitude, and derobed and until POWER comes, the flow of tears in these lives will not cease. That POWER is coming upon somebody TONIGHT!!!

It is power that terminates the tears of life. Hannah had been going to Shiloh every year crying but her tears stopped after she used the following three keys:

1. Aggressive praying: Hannah prayed uncontrollably from the depths of her heart. Friends, what you don’t confront, you don’t conquer. The proof of prayer is results. As long as the result has not come, you have not prayed enough. Don’t stay in the valley of futility. People will see when you’ve prayed enough. Pray hard when it is hard to pray. Satan can weary a person and prevent him/her from praying before answer comes. Prayer is a seed. When a seed is sown it will germinate.
2. Sacrifice: Hannah backed up her prayer with sacrifice. When she offered to give Samuel back to God, he must’ve sent angels to open her womb immediately! Sacrifice is the strength of your prayer.
3. Healing tongue: Prophet Eli said to Hannah “The God of Israel grant you your petition”. After that statement, Hannah’s countenance was no longer sad. Friends, every affliction in life is a proof of a sentence in the spiritual realm.
4. The battle you do not fight, you can’t win. The battle you don’t win, you can’t gather the spoil. If you can’t gather the spoil, it will exploit you. Bartemaeus cast away his garment. Tonight, cast away anything that will prevent you from praying, Brethren PRAY!!!!!

PRAYERS

I plead the blood of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus atone for my sins in the mighty name of Jesus.

Every battle that has signed a lifetime covenant of tears with my destiny, Every battle that was a carry-over from my mother’s life, and every battle that is a carry-over from my father’s life, I am at POWER EXPLOSION conference, DISAPPEAR NOW IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!

In the MIGHTY name of Jesus, EVERY judgment, condemnation passed against me in the spiritual realm producing tears of sorrow BE REVOKED BY FIRE IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!

As from today, no more tears of sorrow in my life in the mighty name of Jesus. Any tears shall be tears of joy in the mighty name of Jesus!
